Based in Boston, Elizabeth is a Sound Designer and Composer for theatre. She has recently designed for the Lyric Stage Company of Boston, Open Theatre Project, Second Act Productions, and Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theatre, and A2'd at The American Repertory Theatre, and Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre. Recent graduate of Emerson college with a BFA in Theatre Design with a concentration in Sound Design.
Elizabeth plays piano, saxophone, accordion, and autoharp, and composes music out of sounds found in the world. She specializes in building instruments out of found objects, such as a Washtub Bass, a book bound with guitar strings, and chimes made of broken records. Elizabeth enjoys spending free time circuit bending, discovering the abilities of Max/MSP and Ableton, and playing her waterphone.
