Based in Boston, Elizabeth is a Sound Designer and Composer for theatre. She has recently designed for the Lyric Stage Company of Boston, Actors’ Shakespeare Project, The Nora Theatre, Speakeasy Stage Company, A.R.T. Institute, New England Conservatory, Baldwin Wallace University, Emerson Stage, Brown Box Theatre Project, Greater Boston Stage Company, Hub Theatre, Open Theatre Project, Second Act Productions, Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theatre, and others. A1 at ArtsEmerson. Graduate of Emerson College with a BFA in Theatre Design/Technology with a concentration in Sound Design.
Elizabeth plays piano, saxophone, accordion, and autoharp, and composes music out of sounds found in the world. She specializes in building instruments out of found objects, such as a Washtub Bass, a book bound with guitar strings, and chimes made of broken records.
